But all jokes aside, brunch is a ritual in itself. An excuse to gather, to linger, to order one more drink, to turn a quick catch-up into three hours of pure laughter. It’s comfort that goes beyond the plate.
You know we love a fun fact around here. A British writer named Guy Beringer coined the word brunch back in 1895 in an essay called Brunch: A Plea, pitching the idea of a late-morning Sunday meal to gently recover from the wild festivities of a Saturday night. And here we are, in 2026, still fully committed to the bit. Only for us here at RTB, it’s 100% zero-proof. And who’s to say we can’t enjoy that same ritual on our own terms? With the same classic drinks, reimagined in a way that works for a more inclusive gathering. Which is exactly how we landed on April’s theme.
Our April box, Brunch Confessions, brings three reimagined classics into the mix: the Bloody Mary, the Mimosa, and the Spritz. Each one has its own personality and flavor story, and together they cover all the moods your brunch crew might be craving, just without the booze.

Damrak Virgin
To start us off, the perfect zero-proof spirit for all your brunch creations. Our main spirit is Damrak Virgin, a gin alternative crafted in Amsterdam. Distilled from 10 botanicals, it has a subtle citrus-forward profile that’s fresh, smooth, and incredibly easy to drink. It’s just as great in our recipes as it is repurposed beyond the box, whether you’re mixing it with tonic and an orange slice or getting creative with your own combinations.
Poshi - Dill Pickle Snack Packs
Poshi stands for Power of Simple Healthy Ingredients, and that’s something we can absolutely get behind. We first featured them with their premium green olive pack in our iconic Dirty Martini from December’s box, and now they’re back, this time bringing the dill pickles into our take on a Bloody Mary.

We’re thrilled to be featuring Blind Tiger again, this time with their Sidecar Mimosa* in our No Regrets cocktail. Inspired by Prohibition-era classics and the Blind Tiger speakeasies of the 1920s, they’ve created an entire line of incredible non-alcoholic cocktails that are ready to enjoy.
Made with clean ingredients and natural sweeteners, this one is full of depth and structure. It shines on its own, and takes center stage in our mimosa, bringing bright, citrusy notes with just a subtle extra punch from the Damrak Virgin to round it out.

Pentire - Coastal Spritz
For our featured RTD, we’ll be enjoying the Coastal Spritz from Pentire, the perfect balance to our brunch lineup and the zero-proof spritz of our dreams.
Sourced from Cornwall, England, this drink is made with coastal botanicals and crafted with a plant-based, nature-driven approach. It’s fresh, light, and made to be enjoyed on the go, which we fully encourage as the weather warms up and the sun starts shining.
Charleston Mix - Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
To complete our Dish The Deets cocktail, we’re mixing things up with Charleston Mix and their Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary mixer*. Made with real horseradish and real tomatoes, it contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives.
Inspired by Southern culinary traditions, it brings a little Charleston charm to your glass and delivers big, bold flavor in every sip. Also, they’re proudly made in the USA!

Who are we, if not the ones encouraging slightly unhinged garnishes and thinking outside the box to create the most over-the-top creations possible? A drink can absolutely be beautiful on its own, but garnishes are what bring everything together and make it feel like the full experience it’s meant to be.
