Cancellation policy

This policy explains how cancellations and changes work for purchases made through Raising the Bar, including subscriptions and pre-orders. Please review carefully before completing your purchase.

Subscriptions

When you purchase a Raising the Bar subscription, you are enrolling in a recurring, pre-paid subscription that delivers on a monthly cadence based on the subscription term you select (1, 3, 6, or 12 months).

Billing & Renewals

  • Subscription billing occurs on the 1st day of the month of your renewal period.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
  • Your payment method will be securely stored and charged according to your selected subscription term.

Cancellations & Changes

  • You may cancel or make changes to your subscription at any time before your next renewal date.
  • Cancellations apply to future renewals only.
  • Any remaining boxes in a pre-paid subscription term will still ship as scheduled.

Refunds

  • Subscriptions are pre-paid and non-refundable.
  • Once the first box of a multi-month subscription has shipped, we are unable to offer returns or refunds of any kind.

One-Time Orders

One-time orders are charged at checkout and typically begin processing shortly after the order is placed.

Orders may be canceled or modified only before they enter the shipping queue. Once an order is in the shipping queue, has been packed, or has shipped, we’re unable to cancel or modify the order.

Refund eligibility for one-time orders follows our Returns & Refunds Policy. Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

Final Sale Products

All sale products, mystery products, past boxes, archive boxes, discounted bundles, gift cards, and RTB merchandise are final sale.

Final sale products are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund, exchange, store credit, or replacement, except where required by law or in cases where an item arrives damaged, is missing from the order, or the wrong item was sent.

Customers should review each product listing carefully before purchasing. Product-specific details, including final sale terms, best-by date notes, box contents, shipping timelines, or other purchase information, will be included on the product page when applicable.

Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are reserving a product that is not yet in inventory or is scheduled to ship at a later date. Estimated ship dates will be noted on the product page at the time of purchase.

Billing

  • Pre-orders may be charged in full at checkout or charged once the item is ready to ship, depending on the product listing.
  • If payment is deferred, your payment method will be securely stored until fulfillment.

Cancellations

  • Pre-orders may be canceled prior to fulfillment unless the product listing states otherwise.
  • Once a pre-order is in the shipping queue, has been packed, or has shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

Refunds

  • Refund eligibility for pre-orders follows our standard Returns & Refunds Policy and any product-specific terms listed on the applicable product page.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

Try Before You Buy

Raising the Bar does not currently offer try-before-you-buy purchases. Any unauthorized use or assumption of this purchase option is not supported.
