Falling Slowly Box Recap

With the holiday season right around the corner, November is the perfect time to find unique ways to use classic festive ingredients. That’s exactly what we set out to do in our “Falling Slowly” mocktail kit. This month, we’re taking our favorite classic flavors like chai, maple, and pumpkin, and combining them with a few unexpected twists.

Each “Falling Slowly” kit comes with a bottle of Dona Masala Chai Concentrate. Made in Brooklyn, this concentrate is brewed in small batches with single-origin & direct-trade spices. The end result is a lovely combination of black tea, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and black peppercorn, with just the right amount of sweetness.

Also from Dona, we’re including a Pink Peppercorn & Lemon soda. Contrasting the cozy chai concentrate, this soda is fizzy and bright, with a fun pink hue from crushed elderberries. It brings just a little extra holiday cheer to each sip.

We’re very excited to share Tree Juice’s Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup, one of our favorite ingredients for the fall. Tree Juice is a family-owned business that creates maple products from an orchard of nearly 8000 trees in the Catskills Mountains, and you can really taste the love that they have for their recipes. Their pumpkin spice maple syrup combines their classic maple recipe with a dash of pumpkin pie spices for a cozy, autumnal addition to any drink.

Stash Decaf Pumpkin Spice Tea is another fall favorite. It’s a bold black tea with notes of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and… you guessed it! Pumpkin! The end result is a smooth and warm tea that pairs great with this month’s other ingredients. The best part is that you can enjoy it any time of day, because it’s been decaffeinated.

This kit also includes a bottle of Cherry Bay Orchards 100% Cherry Juice. Made from locally grown, 100% Tart Montmorency Cherries, it has the perfect balance of sweet and sour. We love the complexity that it brings to this month’s recipes.

As an extra treat, we’ve included a box of Ben’s Sugar Shack Maple Candy. It works great as a garnish, or as a snack for you to enjoy while mixing up your drinks!

Rounding out our recipes this month is our featured ingredient, the Holiday Pie Bitters from El Guapo. Read more about them here

Every Raising the Bar kit comes with four seasonal recipes to make the most out of these great ingredients. We even add an extra cocktail accessory, just for you! This month we’ve included custom RTB coasters. Check out our blog to see what other goodies we’ve included in the past.
